Speaking with Press Start Australia, Hirabayashi Yoshiaki addressed fans’ concerns about the rain effects in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

We’ve already seen everyone’s reaction to the rain effect and we’re working on the first day patch to make adjustments.

Some people noticed the weirdness of Resident Evil 4 Remake’s rain effect when they saw Game Informer’s gameplay video. Fans of Resident Evil certainly raised their concerns, as the rain effect was very similar to the rain effect in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, and PC (Steam) on March 24, 2023.
