Sony Cancel Final Strike Games’ Sci-Fi Shooter Project?

On Twitter, @bogorad222 claimed that Sony Interactive Entertainment had canceled Final Strike Games’ sci-fi shooter game that had been in development for 3 years.

This information comes from @bogorad222 who provided Insider Gaming with proof from a former developer at the studio.

According to @bogorad222, the game took another 2 years to launch on PS5 and PC. According to screenshots seen and checked by Insider Gaming, Final Strike Games had a 40% headcount reduction due to the canceled project.

According to Final Strike Games’ website, the studio was working on a “new unannounced AAA PvP shooter IP for PC and Consoles”, but it remains unclear whether or not this is a canceled project.
