The Day Before PC Version Delayed to November 2023, Why?

MyTona and Fntastic have delayed the PC version of The Day Before from March 1, 2023, to November 10, 2023. According to both companies, the reason for this delay is due to a trademark dispute.

Just before the release, Steam blocked our game page upon personal request, due to the name ‘The Day Before’. As you know, our game was announced in January 2021. At the time of the announcement, the game trademark ‘The Day Before’ was already available. After the game announcement, the above-mentioned individual filled out an application before us to register ‘The Day Before’ game trademark in the United States.

According to both companies, although a lengthy gameplay video was planned for release at the end of January, they had to first resolve this trademark issue.

In a separate tweet, Fntastic noted, “For gameplay videos, we will consult with lawyers first, after which we can then publish them.”

The Day Before will release on PC (Steam) on November 10, 2023. The already announced PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S versions will release at a later date.
