EA Will Re-release The Sims 4 As A Free-to-Play Game

In a report we received via his official blog page, Maxis as the developer of this game plans to re-release The Sims 4 as a Free-to-Play game. As you can see, this free version has been targeted to launch on October 14, 2022 in a Cross-Platform manner. It should also be noted that this line of game DLC can still only be obtained for a fee.

“EA and Maxis have welcomed millions of The Sims players over the years,” EA said in an official announcement. “With the base game The Sims 4 going free, the team will be more dedicated than ever to developing new and meaningful experiences for our players. The event will be called “Behind The Sims Summit.” It is not clear what content will be present at the LIVE event. From the looks of it, EA ‘s plan to continue to support The Sims 4 seems to be big enough to have to make its own event.
